| Q1: 2021 Postseason Once the wildcards take care of their winner-take-all shenanegans, eight MLB teams will face off in the Division Series, four from each league. They are seeded (by league, title and wins) from 1 thru 4. Pick 3 teams whose seeds add up to *at least* 7 points. Your teams can be from either league or from a mix of NL and AL. For example, you could take the 2nd seed from both leagues and the 4th seed from the AL. Note: If you select either wildcard (4th seed) you get the winner of the play-in game for that League. No points are awarded for that game. Points: 5 pts for each playoff win (excluding wildcard game) -1 pt for each playoff loss (excluding wildcard game) 11 pts for a League Championship Berth 13 pts for a World Series Berth 19 pts for a World Series Championship You get to see the Wildcard games for free; picks will lock at the first pitch of the Divisional Round, Thu Oct7 ~1p Pacific Q2: 2022 Regular Season We have seeded the MLB teams; you must select four AL teams (31 seed cap) and four NL teams (27 cap). Your teams will earn points as follows: ...2 points for every regular season win over 50 ..15 bonus pts to each division champ* ..10 bonus pts to each wild-card berth ...5 bonus pts for each 3-gm playoff series win ..15 bonus pts for each 5-gm or 7-gm playoff series win ..25 bonus pts for a world series berth ..50 bonus pts for a world series title * The top two division champs receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs and NO series win bonus for the bye |
