| Q1 2023/2024 Regular Season We've divided the teams by Conference and seeded them 1 thru 9. Your job is to pick 4 teams (in each conference) that total 25 or fewer seed points. Your 8 TOTAL teams will earn you points as follows: ....2pts for each regular season win ...10pts for a high playoff berth, seeds 1-6 ....5pts for a low playoff berth, seeds 7-10 (mini-tournament teams) ....8pts for each playoff round win* ...10pts for a conference title ...20pts for an NBA Championship * Points are for each playoff round that is won, not each playoff game. The NBA mini-tournament between seeds 7 thru 10 does not count as a round. We like you to have a week of information, so picks will lock Mon Oct 30! Q2 2023 In Season Tournament Knockouts 8 teams qualified for the inaugural IST. We've seeded them into three buckets and seeded them accordingly. Pick 3 teams which add to exactly 7 seed points (a 1/2/4 combination is required). Your teams will earn: ....5pts for a quarterfinal win ...10pts for a semifinal win ...20pts for an IST title Picks will lock Mon Dec 4 at 430p Pacific! Q3 2024 Playoffs A total of 16 teams make the playoffs - 8 in each conference. The 2024 teams are seeded as shown below: E-1 Boston Celtics E-2 NY Knicks E-3 Milwaukee Bucks E-4 Cleveland Cavaliers E-5 Orlando Magic E-6 Indiana Pacers E-7* Philadelphia 76ers E-8* (Mia/Chi) W-1 OKC Thunder W-2 Denver Nuggets W-3 Minnesota Timberwolves W-4 LA Clippers W-5 Dallas Mavericks W-6 Phoenix Suns W-7* Los Angeles Lakers W-8* (NO/Sac) * The 7 and 8 seeds in the playoffs will be determined by the NBA's play-in tournament; we are not picking those games and will not reward points for them. Pick 5 NBA playoff teams whose seeds add up to *at least* 17. For example, you could take the 1st seed from both conferences, the 4th seed from both conferences, and the 7th seed from the East, and your entry would be valid (1 + 1 + 4 + 4 + 7 = 17). Or, you could take the 2nd through 6th seed from one conference, and that would be valid (2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = 20).
