Winter Hibernation
We are waiting for the NHL and NBA to give us some more details before we open up the first ever regular season Decathlon picks in those sports...

What else is active in November:
  • English Premier League will post points each weekend unless they are on International Break
  • UEFA Champions League is working through the second leg of group stage to see who advances to knockouts.
  • MLS Playoffs continue with eliminations throughout the next few weeks
  • NFL is grinding out their schedule, points post most Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
  • NCAA is playing covid schedule whack-a-mole in both football and hoops, validating our choice to wait until bowls, championships and madnesses

    Picks on the horizon:
  • NHL and NBA full seasons start up in December

    And these events are on hiatus for now:
  • DJ takes the Fall Masters; next up will be the Spring Masters as we re-pick and tee off the 2021 Majors
  • NASCAR playoffs end with Chase Elliott winning the 'ship; next Auto Racing is the Daytona 500 in Feb 2021
  • Triple (ahem Quintuple) Crown is off until next summer!
  • Dodgers give LA the professional 2-fer; next baseball action is pre-season picks for 2021
  • French Open finishes with (surprise) Nadal on top - we repick before the Australian Open
  • NBA Finals finish up with Lebron holding hardware - regular season 2021 should open for picks in mid December
  • NHL crowns the Bolts! See you when the 2021 season begins

    Yes, you may change your picks at any point up until those picks lock. For example, if you want to change your NBA tiebreakers...
    ...Login,
    ...choose Make Picks from the left menu,
    ...scroll to NBA and select it,
    ...update your picks and hit Save!

    You can submit, change and resubmit as often as you like up to the lock deadline.


    LATE PICKS: if you miss a deadline, email valid picks to sportsdecathlon@yahoo.com ASAP. Minimum penalty of 15pts per day (possibly more) will be assigned based on the timestamp of when we receive your email.
