RULES: COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Part1: Preseason Picks
Most of the teams from the Power Five conferences, three Independents and another ~20 teams from the top Group of Five conferences have been seeded according to a composite of current rankings. No team is seeded higher than 50.

Select eight teams totaling at least 170 seed points.

Your eight teams will earn points as follows:
...7 pts for each win
..15 pts for a conference title*
...5 pts for a bowl berth**
..12 pts for a bowl win**
..15 pts for a Playoff berth
..15 pts for an NCAA title

* if the conference plays a title game, the team has to win the title game

** teams who make the playoff championship will earn 2 bowl berths, and the overall champ will earn 2 bowl wins.

There are a few more teams out there. If you wish to select an at-large team which we didn't load, just email sportsdecathlon@yahoo.com and we'll get it loaded as a 50-seed.

Part 2: CFP and Bowls
2a: Playoff Semifinals
Pick the winner of each semifinal (2 games). We will be picking against the spread. All spreads will be x.5 pts so there will be no pushes. Correct picks earn 20 pts

BOTH SEMIFINAL picks will lock at kickoff of the FIRST game (Dec 28, 1p Pacific).

2b: Bowl games
Pick 10 Bowl winners. You can pick any teams from any bowls, including playing both sides of a given bowl (thus guaranteeing a win and a loss) or re-picking your semifinal picks (to double up or hedge). We will be picking against the spread. All spreads will be x.5 pts so there will be no pushes. Correct picks earn 15 pts

ALL BOWL picks will lock Dec 20, 11a Pacific.
