| Q1: Regular Season All 30 MLB teams have been seeded roughly by preseason odds to win the World Series. You must select six teams totaling no more than 30 seed points. Teams may be from any division. Your six teams will earn points as follows: 4 points for every regular season win above 50. 30 bonus pts to each division champ 20 bonus pts to each wild-card berth 20 bonus pts for a league championship berth 25 bonus pts for a world series berth 50 bonus pts for a world series win Q2: Postseason Ten MLB teams have made the playoffs, five from each league. They are seeded (by league, title and wins) from 1 thru 4. Pick 3 teams whose seeds add up to *at least* 7 points. Your teams can be from either league or from a mix of NL and AL. For example, you could take the 2nd seed from both leagues and the 4th seed from the AL. Note: If you select either wildcard (4th seed) you get the winner of the play-in game for that League. No points are awarded for that game. Points: 5 pts for a playoff win (excluding wildcard game) -1 pt for a playoff loss (excluding wildcard game) 19 pts for a League Championship (the pennant) 25 bonus pts for winning the World Series You get to see the Wildcard games for free; picks will lock at the first pitch of the Divisional Round, Oct5 ~3p Pacific Q3: World Series Tie Breakers If ties seem likely, we will pick tiebreakers once the World Series matchup is set! |
